Post #117 of The Jewish War Veterans of the U.S.A., the nation's oldest war veteran's organization - is looking for new members. To qualify for active membership, you must have served on active duty in the Armed Forces of the United States - to include the Reserve Components - during various qualifying periods. Associate membership is available to those who served during other periods and those who served in the armed forces of a country allied with the United States during a war in which the United States was an active participant.

Join Us for Our Annual
Chanukah Celebration


Special Chanukah treats –
potato latkes, apple sauce
and soufganiot (jelly donuts).

Door prizes will be raffled off including a trip to Atlantic City.  Bring coloring books and crayons to be donated to Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital.

We are invited to the annual Chanukah party sponsored by the three posts at the VFW Post at 214 Tollgate Road in Owings Mills from 11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.  Admission is a new toy to be donated to the Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital.


The Post and Auxiliary have changed the policy on placing obituaries in the newspaper.  In lieu of this, we will be planting trees in Israel through the JNF in memory of the deceased person.

Trees can also be planted, as in past years,
for all occasions.

By becoming a Life Member now, you avoid the increase in dues in future years.  Dues have been sent out from National Headquarters.  Everyone should have received their dues payment request.  Life membership payment will be increased.  Now is the time to act.
